Eid Al Adha
It has just been announced that the month of Dhul Hijja begins tomorrow, October 28, 2011. This means that Eid al Adha will be on Sunday, November, 6th, 2011.

Job Opening for A Qualified Imam
The Islamic Association of Central Connecticut, "IACC"/Masjid Al Taqwa located in New Britain, CT is looking for a full time Imam to serve our diverse community. The community is compromised mostly of Arabic speaking (65%) and non-arabic.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 year Degree in Islamic Studies from recognized University.
- Experience as Imam preferred.
- Fluent in Arabic and English. Hafiz in Qur'an is a plus but not neccesary.
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Have the ability to bring the community together.
- Must be able to communicate with youth, outreach, and interfaith.

Eid Carnival
The Muslim Coalition of Connecticut is holding it's 6th Annual Eid Carnival Saturday, September, 3, 2011 from 11:00 AM-8:00 PM at Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT. Eid Ul Fitr
Eid Mubarak!!
Eid Ul Fitr this year will be either Wednesday, August 31, or Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Eid Prayer will be held in the green area behind the Masjid. Takbeer will start at 8:00 AM and Prayer will start at 8:30 AM Inshallah. In the chance of inclement weather, we will have two prayers: one at 7:30 AM and the other at 9:30 AM.
